Midnight Sun ATV Safari to North Cape
Experience the midnight sun on a spectacular ATV safari from Honningsvåg to North Cape, an Arctic adventure in the magical night light.
Tour description
Summer in the north offers a natural phenomenon that fascinates people from all over the world: the mighty midnight sun. When evening falls and the rest of the world prepares for night, the landscape on Magerøya remains bathed in golden light.
On our Midnight Sun ATV Safari to the North Cape, you’ll experience this truly special atmosphere up close. The adventure begins in Honningsvåg, where you’ll meet your guide, receive a safety briefing, and be provided with a helmet and necessary clothing.
Once the engines start, we set off on the 33-kilometer journey toward the North Cape. We follow the road through the open Arctic landscape of Magerøya, where mountains, coastlines, and the sea meet in a landscape that feels both serene and majestic.
Along the way, we make several stops so you can take photos and truly enjoy the special atmosphere as the sun sits low on the horizon late in the evening. On clear days, you can see far out over the Barents Sea, and it’s not uncommon to spot reindeer grazing on Magerøya.
When we arrive at the North Cape, you’ll have plenty of time to experience this iconic location. Take photos at the world-famous globe monument, visit the North Cape Hall, and experience the magical moment when the clock strikes midnight and the sun, still in the sky, shines over the endless sea.
Experiencing the North Cape in the light of the midnight sun is something truly unique. The combination of the open wilderness, the silence, the sense of adventure, and one of the world’s most fascinating natural phenomena creates an atmosphere that is hard to describe in words—and even more intense when experienced from an ATV.
