Environment and Sustainability
Eco-Lighthouse
As a responsible player in the travel industry, we are proud to be certified by Miljøfyrtårn, Norway’s most widely used certification for businesses seeking to document their environmental efforts and social responsibility.
For us, sustainability is about more than just good intentions. It’s about concrete actions in our daily operations. Through this certification, we work to reduce our carbon footprint, protect the natural environment around us, and make a positive contribution to the local community in and around Honningsvåg and the North Cape.

Sustainable experiences in the north
Our activities are designed with respect for the nature and culture we are part of. Whether you’re participating in an ATV safari, a RIB tour, or a king crab experience, you can be confident that the experience is conducted with a focus on the environment and responsible tourism.
We believe that authentic experiences become even better when they are preserved, both for you as a guest and for future generations.
Thank you for taking care of nature during your visit!
The Arctic nature around North Cape and Honningsvåg is both spectacular and vulnerable. To preserve this unique landscape for future generations, we encourage all visitors to follow the “Leave No Trace”principles. It’s about showing respect for nature—and for each other. Feel free to explore the outdoors, but remember: Don’t leave any trash or traces of your visit behind.
We ask that you stick to marked roads and trails so that vegetation and wildlife remain as undisturbed as possible. Avoid building cairns, as this can damage both plant life and the fragile soil. Also remember the simple but important principle: “Take nothing but photos, leave nothing but footprints.”
Small choices make a big difference. Thank you for helping to protect the Arctic wilderness!
