ATV Safari to the North Cape
Ride an ATV through the spectacular Arctic landscape from Honningsvåg to the North Cape, Europe’s northernmost point!
Tour description
Some places in the world, the journey itself is just as spectacular as the destination. The trip to the North Cape is one of them.
The adventure begins in Honningsvåg, where you’ll meet your guide, receive a safety briefing, and be provided with a helmet and any necessary clothing. Once everyone is geared up and ready, we start the ATVs and head north on the 33-kilometer-long road toward what is often referred to as the end of the world.
On the way up to the North Cape, you’ll experience the open and beautiful Arctic nature that Magerøya is known for. The landscape here is vast, quiet, and dramatic, shaped by the sea, weather, and wind over time. Along the way, we make several stops so you can take photos, enjoy the view, and truly take in the striking contrasts of the nature around you. On clear days, you can see far out over the Barents Sea, and it’s not uncommon to encounter reindeer grazing freely on the island.
When we arrive at the North Cape, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the area. Visit the North Cape Hall, take the classic photo by the globe monument, walk out to the cliff edge 307 meters above sea level, and experience the feeling of standing at the very edge of the European continent. After a longer stop at the North Cape, we hop on the ATVs and return to Honningsvåg.
Experiencing the North Cape on an ATV adds a whole new dimension compared to traveling there by bus or car. You feel the wind, the scent of the sea, and the landscape around you. You’re not just a spectator; you’re part of the experience. When the tour is over, you’ll be left with memories of spectacular nature, fresh Arctic air, and the feeling of having experienced the North Cape in a completely unique way.
Ready for a trip you’ll remember for the rest of your life?
